What an exciting day we had on Monday (18th July) when the Mayor of Matlock came to visit.
He not only had fun playing hairdressers and playdough with the children, but also bought a cheque to playgroup for £275!
The money had been raised by the Jubilee weekend activities, which had taken place in Matlock last month and Councillor Wain personally delivered the cheque to us at Woolley Road.
Thank you very much to Councillor Wain and also to the local community for supporting us. We are looking forward to spending the money further enhancing our outdoor spaces.
