OFSTED Praise

We have been praised by OFSTED during our recent inspections last November 2025.

The reports for both sites were published in February and stated "children happily arrive at the setting and separate from their parent/carers with confidence" and "Children beam with joy and show excitement as they enter the setting".

The Tin Hut received expected standard for curriculum and teaching and strong standard for Achievement, Attendance and Behaviour, Inclusion, Personal Development and Well-Being and Leadership and Governance.

Inspectors said "Leaders prioritise children's welfare and wellbeing, placing it at the heart of the setting's ethos and daily practice"

"Children thrive with the secure attachments of their key person"

" Staff go above and beyond to ensure children receive a continuous curriculum" and "Embedded and well-structured routines help children to develop healthy habits and emotional wellbeing - with children showing increasing levels of independence".

Whilst Woolley Road received strong standard across all inspected areas.

Inspectors said "staff know children extremely well and this enables them to adapt their teaching skills and provide experiences that help every child to flourish, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities"

"there is a stimulating and well-planned curriculum which motivates children to learn through purposeful and ambitious learning experiences" and "children behaved well and were kind, helpful and respectful to both their peers and the staff".
